PUKAYA has been created by Marine Scheidegger, a swiss designer who fell in love with Perú, it’s culture, history and diversity. She decided to establish in Lima and develops an opportunity in this new space.

Her vision was to create products and accessories that would be able to  carry the peruvian heritage that she loves and at the same time, to create a unique, high design quality product. Her goal includes to improve the lives of PUKAYA‘s partners, who are family enterprises, local handcraft artisan and artists.

PUKAYA is inspired in the traditional art, design, rituality, symbolism and cultures from Perú: the strength and energy from the Andes, the respect and cosmovision from the Amazon, and the equilibrium between tradition and modernity.
