When you first time hear about Perú, people usually think it as the ancient Inca’s capital or the lost temple of Machu Picchu. Defined by the past, and their ruins, is usually the common first idea of this marvelous country.
However, Perú is not only the Inca’s country, but the Quechuas, Aymaras, Wankas, Shipibo Konibo, Boras, Chavin, Paracas, and many other cultures and nations, that interact not only in the past, but specially in the present.
PUKAYA had the privilege to know this, and it’s inspired by Perú’s diversity, its people, its heritage, history, and many cultures; but also, their present process and manifestations.
That’s why PUKAYA develops its ideas and projects from this, and would like to share a glance of the diversity in culture and knowledge of Perú, country of nations.
